Recently, the 4th (2026) Northern Cattle Industry Conference and Grain-Saving and Consumption-Reducing Technology Seminar was held in Taiyuan. The conference was jointly hosted by the Shanxi Modern Agriculture Cattle Industry Technology System, the Shanxi Feed Industry Association, and the College of Animal Science of Shanxi Agricultural University.

The conference centered on the theme "Pooling Strength for Full-Chain Integration to Create a New Paradigm of Quality and Efficiency Improvement; Empowering the Revitalization of the Cattle Industry to Build a New Highland for Northern Animal Husbandry." More than 490 experts, scholars, enterprise representatives, and industry practitioners from across the country gathered to jointly explore pathways and solutions for the transformation and upgrading of the cattle industry.
